Knowledge & information

Turn scattered files, manuals and work records into information that is traceable, maintainable and useful.

Start with the actual work

The difficulty is often knowing which document applies. We start with the source set, its versions and the tasks it needs to support, then shape the organisation, retrieval and response workflow.

What the work involves

  • Sources and versionsIdentify document locations, owners and applicable versions. Retain the history without confusing it with current guidance.
  • Organised around tasksBuild entries, indexes and retrieval paths around recurring questions. Where responses are generated, keep the underlying references available.
  • Access and upkeepSeparate read access, editing and approval. Include new documents and replacements in an everyday maintenance process.

You do not need to share the entire document set at the outset. A redacted index, file types and typical questions are enough for the first discussion.
